Shreyapatha is run by Praasa Consultancy Services, No 202, 2nd Floor, Annapurneshwari Enclave, 17th Cross, Ranganathapura, Malleswaram, Bengaluru 560003 ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through shreyapatha.in, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- From the counselling form: the student's name, the student's and parent's mobile numbers, the course and city of interest, any referral code, and the page you sent the form from.
- From the rating form: your name, mobile number, course, year of joining and your scores. Only the scores are ever shown on the website, as part of an average; your name and number are used only to confirm the rating.
- From the college claim form: the contact person's name, designation, official email, mobile and the requested changes.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and the device type, through website analytics. This does not identify you by name.
Why we use it
- To call or message you about your enquiry and give you counselling.
- To share your enquiry with a college only when you ask us to, or agree on the call, so that the college can help with your admission.
- To keep a record of enquiries and admissions for our own accounts and our agreements with partner colleges.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
We do not sell or rent student details to anyone, and we do not share them for marketing by other businesses.
Students under 18
If the student is under 18, the form must be submitted by a parent or guardian, or with their agreement. We may confirm this with the parent on the first call. If we learn that a form was sent for a minor without a parent's agreement, we delete it.
Where it is stored and for how long
Enquiries are stored in Google Workspace accounts controlled by Praasa Consultancy Services, with access limited to our counselling team. We keep enquiry details for up to two years after the admission season they relate to, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold, correct them, delete them, or stop contacting you. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. To do any of this, write to [email protected] or call +91 99025 26657. We reply within 7 working days.
Grievances
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact our grievance officer at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics to count visits to each page. It may set cookies in your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the website will still work.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
